Beyond the Longleaf Pines: An Intro
Welcome welcome welcome! We are so excited to have you along for this new blogging adventure of documenting our many adventures. To learn a little more about us check out our lovely About page. Planning trips and traveling has been a part of my life since I was five years old and piling into my grandparents old Prowler camper. At least once a day I am either typing out an itinerary for a real (or imaginary) vacation or scrolling through other blogs trying to find the next best destination. I've been known to plan an entire trip around just one photo of inspiration, or a weekend hitting every restaurant mentioned in a Bon Appetit “best of” list.

As for my partner, Luke has learned to be a “yes man” whenever I pitch the next getaway and is a fantastic travel companion and photographer. You'll find his photography woven throughout our hiking guides and itineraries and packing lists. You might even see a guest post from him on how to catch the perfect sunrise or sunset shot - so be on the lookout!
